I believe that sex education should be taken seriously and should begin when the child is at least 3 years of age. Why? This generation coming would be much more harder to control due to exposure, i.e, the things they see on TV and around them. I am not saying you should go all in, what I’m saying is you should let them know somehow that somethings are wrong and unacceptable. You can do that without disturbing their innocence. Here’s how you can do that:  - Start by telling them how precious they are tell them how special their bodies are and that no matter the circumstance, no one has the right to touch their bodies in a way that makes them feel uncomfortable. - Encourage them to tell you about their day, everyday if possible. - Learn to scold them lovingly (like this is ever possible, lol. It all started at age 8 when my siblings made me angry so I went down stairs into one of the rooms in the house to sleep, I felt someone touching me it was my cousin (OLDER). I didn't understand what he was doing at that time, he was touching my tiny breast and it was very painful..... So much has been said about sexual molestation,  assaults, rape etc and for some people, they're just mere stories. Unfortunately for others, its their reality. Before I delve into the topic of rape, I'd be letting you in on the REAL stories of people out there who somehow, have been victims of such circumstances.
